【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountofbromine-reactivematerialinpetroleumhydrocarbonsandisthusameasureoftraceamountsofunsaturatesinthesematerials.Itisapplicabletomaterialshavingbromineindexesbelow1000.Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytoessentiallyolefin-freehydrocarbonsormixturesthataresubstantiallyfreefrommateriallighterthanisobutaneandhaveadistillationendpointunder288C(550F).ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.1.1Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-Thisprocedurehasbeencooperativelytestedonmaterialswithbromineindexesintherangefrom100to1000.Thesematerialsincludepetroleumdistillatessuchasstraight-runandhydrocrackednaphtha,reformerfeed,kerosine,andaviationturbinefuel.Note2-Materialswithbromineindexgreaterthan1000shouldbetestedforbrominenumberusingTestMethodD1159/IP130.Note3-BromineindexofindustrialaromatichydrocarbonsshouldbedeterminedusingTestMethodD1492orD5776.
