【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheconcentrationofsulfurinlightliquidhydrocarbons,gasoline,anddieselsandtheiradditives,wheresuchconcentrationsofsulfurcanbedetrimentaltotheirproduction,performance,anduse.Themeasurementofsulfurintheproductionandfinalproductofgasolineanddieselisrequiredforbothregulatorypurposesandtoensuremaximumlifeexpectancyofcatalyticconvertersusedintheautomotiveindustry.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofsulfurconcentrationintherangefrom3.0to1000mg/kginlightliquidhydrocarbonsboilingintherangefrom26to274176;C(80to525176;F).1.2Othermaterialsfallingwithinthedistillationrangespecifiedin1.1,buthavingsulfurconcentrationsabove1000mg/kg,maybetestedusingappropriatedilutionstobringthemwithinthespecifiedlimit.Inaddition,sampletypesthatmaybeoutsidethespecifieddistillationrange,suchasdieselsandbiodiesels,maybeanalyzedbythistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thepreferredunitsaremilligramsperkilogram(mg/kg).1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections7-9.
