【摘要】:ThispartofEN10246specifiestherequirementsforthefullperipheralultrasonictestingofseamlessandweldedsteeltubes,withtheexceptionofsubmergedarcwelded(SAW)tubes,forwallthicknessmeasurement.Thestandardspecifiesacceptancelevelsandcalibrationprocedures.NOTE1:Fullperipheraltestingdoesnotnecessarilymeanthat100%ofthetubesurfacewillbescanned.NOTE2:Thisinspectionmaybecarriedoutsimultaneouslywithfullperipheralultrasonictestingforthedetectionoflaminarimperfections(seeEN10246-14)usingthesameultrasonictransducersforbothinspectionrequirements.Underthesecircumstances,thepercentageofthetubesurfacetobescannedisdeterminedbytheminimumlaminationsizetobedetectedasrequiredbyEN10246-14.ThispartofEN10246isapplicabletothethicknessmeasurementoftubeswithaspecifiedoutsidediameterequaltoorgreaterthan25,4mmandaminimumwallthicknessof2,6mm.EuropeanStandardEN10246,Non-destructivetestingofsteeltubes,comprisesthepartsshowninAnnexA.
